Hi, I am Anna.

Behind every painting is a story. Not only of the artwork itself, but of the person creating it.

This is the story behind my work, what inspires it, and the path that brought me here.

Returning to Art

Creativity has always been part of my life. As a child, I never questioned the answer to what I wanted to become: an artist.

Yet, like many people, I followed a more structured path first. A path shaped by routines, expectations, and a traditional understanding of success.

Painting stayed with me throughout that time. Not always in the foreground, but always present.

Eventually, I realized that creating was where I felt most connected to myself. Pursuing art professionally was not about starting over. It was about returning to something that had always been a part of me.

My Artistic Perspective

I believe a painting should be felt before it is understood.

I do not create with a fixed meaning in mind. Instead, I leave space for each person to experience the work in their own way.

A painting becomes personal through the memories, emotions, and stories that the viewer brings to it.

For me, beauty is not found in perfection. It lives in the balance between layers, change, and the traces of the process itself.

The Creative Process

Each painting begins with openness rather than a predetermined result.

I work intuitively with colour, texture, and layers, allowing the piece to develop naturally over time. Some moments are intentional, others emerge unexpectedly.

The process is a constant balance between control and surrender, and often, the most meaningful parts of a painting appear when I allow room for the unexpected.
